We’re all about innovation and GameBlazers, which is why we’re excited to announce a brand new way to play on the app this year—the Primetime Pyro.

WHAT IS PRIMETIME PYRO?

This contest will be limited to players participating in primetime games during each specific contest week. Primetime games include Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night contests—plus Friday night for Week 1 to get things started! During weeks where there are multiple primetime games on a given night, all of those games will be part of the contest.

Contest lineups will consist of six slots, with four of those slots required to be Primetime Items (more on these momentarily). The other two slots can either be Primetime or Core Items. The roster requirements are as follows:

• 1x QB, RB, WR, TE
• 2x Flex

PRIMETIME PACKS

The Primetime Items you’ll need for these contests can only be found in Primetime Packs or on the Marketplace. To begin the season, Primetime Packs will drop for $5 per pack with a limited set of 600 total packs. Purchases will be limited to two packs per user for the first 24 hours, then opened up to unlimited purchases afterwards.

Primetime Pyro Packs will drop each Tuesday of Primetime Pyro contest weeks at 5pm EST. The Week 1 Primetime Pyro Pack will release on Tuesday, August 26th, at 5pm EST.

Each pack will contain five tradeable Items from the teams in the given week’s primetime slate. So in Week 1, for example, packs will only include players from teams in the following games: Cowboys at Eagles (Thursday night), Chargers at Chiefs (Friday night) Ravens at Bills (Sunday night), and Vikings at Bears (Monday night). Each pack is guaranteed to contain one player at each skill position (QB, RB, WR, TE) plus one additional Item. The Items you receive are eligible to be used for the one-year expiration period they exist. In other words, Items can be reused in future Primetime Pyro contests if the player’s team competes in additional primetime games throughout the season! Note: Primetime Items can only be used in the Primetime Pyro contests.

WHEN WILL CONTESTS RUN?

The Primetime Pyro will occur week of the NFL regular season EXCEPT the following:

• Week 5 (Fury Week)
• Week 9 (Madness Week)
• Week 13 (Thanksgiving Week)
• Week 17 (Christmas Week)

PrimeTime Pack Drop Cadence

On weeks which PrimeTime Contests are being held, packs will drop on Tuesdays at 5 PM EST, with an initial purchase limit of 2 per user.

• Wednesday 5pm EST - limit increase to 4 per user (if not sold out)
• Thursday 12pm EST - limit increase to 6 per user (if not sold out)
• Thursday 5pm EST - limit increase to 10 per user (if not sold out)
