OKAY, BUT WHAT ARE ITEMS?

If you're new to GameBlazers, here's the quick version. GameBlazers is built around a digital card-collecting model—similar in concept to FIFA Ultimate Team, but for fantasy sports. Instead of traditional DFS where you draft a fresh lineup from scratch each week, GameBlazers gives you a roster of player Items that you own and manage over time.

Each Item represents a real professional athlete and comes with two key attributes:

• Overall — a number from 0 to 150 reflecting the athlete's relative performance at their position. The better they play, the higher it climbs. • Multiplier — a value between 1.0x and 1.5x that amplifies the fantasy points that Item scores in contests. A running back who scores 10 fantasy points with a 1.3x multiplier gives you 13 points. Higher multipliers also come with a higher salary cap hit, which is what keeps lineups competitive and balanced.

Items come in two types: Franchise Items, which exist as long as the athlete's career does, and Expiring Items, which last 12 months from the date you open them.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ITEMS?

You use them to enter contests. GameBlazers contests work like traditional DFS — set a lineup, stay within the salary cap, and compete against other users for cash prizes and rewards. The difference is that your lineup is built entirely from the Items in your Inventory. The better your collection, the more firepower you have.

You can also buy and sell Items on the Marketplace, upgrade your collection through Roster Upgrade Challenges (RUCs), and earn rewards by leveling up the GB Pass — GameBlazers' progression system that rewards you just for playing.
