What is a Squad?
A squad is a team of 3 players, built for one sport. Here's the rundown:
- Three seats. You plus 2 friends.
- Sport-specific. You build a squad for a given sport.
- Public squads show up in the in-app Squad directory while they have an open seat, so anyone can find and join them.
- Private squads are invite-only. Friends join with your squad's 6-character join code.
- Squad chat. Every squad gets its own chat for trash talk and strategy.
- Owner controls. Whoever creates the squad is its owner and can edit the name and description. If the owner leaves, ownership passes to the member who joined first.
How it's played
1. Form your squad
Create one and invite 2 friends with your join code, or join a public squad from the directory.
2. Everyone sets a lineup
Each member enters their own lineup in the weekly squad contest before lineups lock. The app shows who on your squad is ready.
3. Scores combine
Your squad's score is the total of all members' scores, and squads are ranked against each other on the contest leaderboard.
4. Win together
Prizes are paid to each member based on your squad's finishing place. If squads tie, the credits and cash are split.
Seasons
Squad contests are grouped into seasons, and each season has its own leaderboard tracking squad standings week to week.
Heads up: once a season passes its roster lock date, members can't be added or removed until the season settles. Form your squad early so nobody gets left on the bench.
